Cycle rickshaws form an important mode of informal transport offering valuable service in metro cities and towns. Cycle rickshaws are considered eco- friendly, user-friendly and cost-efficient, convenient form of transport for short-distance travel. This study is based on an empirical work of cycle rickshaw pullers who form a huge proportion of urban migrants in Delhi. It intends to know about the financial behaviour of cycle rickshaw pullers for a better understanding of their needs and requirements, their choices and challenges and the constraints faced by them in managing their money and livelihoods.
