Summary, etc Naxalite movement is the biggest ever-violent social movement born out of socio-economic issues combined with political goal to capture state power through armed agrarian uprising to bring about revolutionary socialist transformation. The movement was primarily launched by the landless tribals and peasants against the capitalist, landed people, wine traders, moneylenders, forest and revenue officials who have been historically exploiting the poor and marginalized people in the state for centuries. The word. Naxalism became a very popular concept in 1967 when a group of communist revolutionaries were born out of the Sino-Soviet split in the Indian communist movement. Naxalism developed with the ideological tenets of Marx-Lenin-Mao under the leadership of Charu Mazumdar. Initially Naxalism practiced at Naxalbari village in West Bengal to develop a revolutionary opposition in order to establish a revolutionary rule in the country. They waged war against their class enemies (property owners, wine traders, moneylenders and forest officials).Their principal goal is to liquidate their class enemies to build a class less society. A group of communist revolutionaries rejected the path of democratic revolution and they claimed that through non-violence method, right and justice of downtrodden people can be established. They claimed that the propertied class will not respond to the non violent path of rebellion.. The upper class will easily suppress the movement by using their private goons or by state force. They believed that gun will terrorize the oppressive structure of bourgeoisie society. Therefore, these revolutionaries preached and practiced violence and directly challenged the ruthless exploitation and inhuman oppression of upper class in the state. These revolutionaries were branded as Naxalites since 1967. Naxalites are group of persons, belonged different caste, class and ethnic background waging a class struggle against the Indian democracy, propertied class on behalf of landless people, poor and marginalised mass who have been historically subjugated and exploited by the cruel attitude of the propertied class people in the country. They adopt both violent and non-violent means to reach their setting goal. They assert that they are systematically fighting against brutal oppression of the rich class over the poor class to establish justice and equality by creating a classless society. They indoctrinate people by infusing their radical ideology.
