The book is an attempt to develop landslides zonation with the application of Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information System (GIS) and suggest the proper management techniques for the affected areas. The book highlights the factors responsible for the triggering of landslides, the importance of the parameters (geology, drainage, weathering, slope, soil, land use, etc.) in the Landslide Hazard Zonation (LHZ) and Management (LHM).
